In June 2017, the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee was selected to receive a 2017 National Legislative Program Evaluation Society Certificate of Impact for our report entitled Department of Human Services' Implementation of the Olmstead Decision as It Pertains to State Centers. The award was given in recognition of the report's influence on the Department of Human Services' decision to move forward with closing Hamburg State Center. The award will be presented at the NLPES' Professional Development Seminar in September 2017.
